Products Description and Key Features
Formwork Waler
The square tube waler is the back-framing member of the Q700 wall formwork system. It runs on the outside of the vertical Q700 panels and transfers concrete pressure to the tie bolts. The body is a standard square steel tube in Q235 or Q355 grade - the same grade family used in conventional walers. Two tubes are locked in a double layer across the panel back. Long adjustment slots run along the tube. Tie bolts pass through the slots with square anchor plates, so the bolt position slides to match each panel tie layout. No on-site drilling.
Standard square steel tube
Q235 or Q355 rectangular hollow section, 50×30 to 80×30 mm with 2.0–3.0 mm walls. No exotic material, no long-lead supply risk.
01
Slotted adjustment holes
Long slots run along the tube. Tie bolts pass through with square anchor plates. One waler covers different panel tie rows without re-drilling.
02
Double-layer framing
Two tubes locked in a pair across the panel back. The pair resists concrete lateral pressure and keeps the wall face flat during the pour.
03
Direct Q700 system fit
Slots align with Q700 panel tie layouts. Assembles with Q700 panels, corner pieces, pin-and-wedge sets and hook-type waler clamps.
04
200+ reuse casts
Hot-dip galvanized or painted finish, the same corrosion practice as our standard waler line. Steel holds scrap value at end of service.

Applications

Main back framing for Q700 shear-wall and core formwork, and for steel or aluminium panel systems with the same tie layout. The slotted holes suit walls where tie positions change - basement walls, cores, and repeat-floor high-rise walls. The same tubes frame column formwork above 600 mm square with the square-pipe waler clamp. For rental fleets, the tubes stack flat for return transport and re-stack on the next floor without re-drilling.
