Products Description
Intro
A tapered pin and a steel wedge - that is the whole connection. Drop the pin through the aligned rib holes of two adjacent Q700 panels and hit the wedge into the pin slot twice: the joint pulls tight and stays tight under full concrete pressure. The tapered tip also walks the pin into holes that sit a few millimetres off. The same set fits regular steel, aluminum and plastic formwork.
Positive wedge lock
Concrete pressure and vibration push the wedge tighter, not looser. Two hammer blows set the joint; one sideways tap at stripping releases it.
Universal fit
One set of pins and wedges covers steel, aluminum and plastic formwork - Q700 included. Crews stock one fastener, not three.
Hardened, galvanized steel
55#/60# high-carbon steel with a galvanized finish. Takes years of rough handling and stripping without bending or seizing.
Steel beats timber
The timber pins and wedges crews improvise on site swell after a few wet cycles, jam in the holes and snap at extraction. Steel does none of that.
