Introduction

The Q700 High-Strength Alloy Steel Stair Formwork is a modular flight-form system for cast-in-place stairs in residential and commercial building cores. Each module integrates the tread, riser, and side plate in one welded unit; riser heights of 150-180 mm and tread widths of 250-300 mm cover standard stair geometry, and modules assemble into a whole flight cast in a single pour. Stripped faces are fair-faced, ready for handover without secondary plastering.

Where our conventional steel stair formwork covers standard painted-steel stairs and our aluminum stair formwork covers low-weight aluminum systems, this page covers the Q700 generation: a Zn-Al-Mg coated alloy steel with yield strength above 700 MPa - roughly three times the approx. 240 MPa of typical aluminum alloys - welded by laser into stiff modules that hold 300+ reuse cycles. Support-side props and jacks come from our shoring props range with matching heads.

01

Integrated modules, aligned flights

tread, riser, and side plate in one welded module mean no loose tread inserts to re-align flight after flight.

02

Material-generation upgrade

above-700 MPa Q700 substrate against conventional steel or aluminum: 300+ cycles and a fair-faced finish with verticality within 4 mm and flatness within 3 mm on the system grid.

03

Standard geometry coverage

150-180 mm risers and 250-300 mm treads match common housing and commercial stair standards .

04

Faster cores

whole-flight one-pour casting with 300+ cycle modules cuts stair-core schedules - the Q700 system is documented to save 15-20% of formwork cycle time.

Applications

Residential stair cores - cast-in-place stairs in high-rise housing, where the 150-180 mm risers and 250-300 mm treads match common housing standards and each flight closes in a single pour.

Commercial and public buildings - office and mall cores that hand over fair-faced treads and risers without secondary plastering.

Repetitive tower floors - the same module schedule repeats flight after flight across typical floors; 300+ reuse cycles with no loose tread inserts to re-align between pours.

Core programs with matched shoring - support-side jacks and props from our shoring props range carry the modules on matching heads.
