As the core load-bearing component for formwork support and scaffolding systems, the High Load Capacity U head is mounted on top of formwork props. Its U-shaped groove securely locks timber beams, steel channels and horizontal joists in place. Height can be freely adjusted by turning the matching nut along the screw, enabling flexible levelling of cast-in-situ floor and beam formwork over uneven construction ground. This design distributes construction loads evenly and improves the overall structural stability of the entire shoring system. Q1: What is the difference between U Head and Base Jack?

U Head installs on the top of screw jack to support horizontal beams; Base Jack fits at the bottom end to level scaffolding upright on ground. These two accessories are always used as a complete set for scaffolding shoring system.

Q2: Solid screw or hollow screw, which one to choose?

Solid screw is preferred for heavy-load projects like bridge and high formwork for stronger load performance; hollow screw is cost-effective choice for low-rise ordinary residential construction.
